WHY YOU’LL LOVE OUR BAMBOO CANDLES

OUR BAMBOO STORY

Our unique candle vessels aren’t made from the usual glass, or tin cans that you commonly see. We love our unique vessels that are made from Bamboo.

Since our bamboo vessels are not machine made, but are made by hand, no two vessels are the same and their shape isn’t always perfect. We believe that our imperfections are what can make us truly beautiful.

Bamboo is not only highly sustainable, it’s also helping support our local community who handcraft our unique vessels in different regions in the Philippines. It's the collective energy of a happy, creative, and joyful spirit.

By utilizing earth-friendly materials, it’s allowing us and our wonderful customers to make a positive impact on the environment, even if it’s in a small way, we believe that every bit counts.

GETTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR BAMBOO CANDLES

Our meditation candle comes in a unique Bamboo vessel with its woody color that will perfectly blend in any space, be it a minimalist-designed space or a dreamy vintage interior. We have carefully selected the right size of the wick and diameter of every bamboo to make sure that the flame will not affect bamboo cup.

Since it comes to a wooden-type vessel, we have done a lot of wick testing and candle burning experiments to evaluate the behavior of our candles when its lit. Voila! It performs perfectly fine just like the normal candle in a glass container.

EXPERIMENTS AND CONCLUSION

A general question that we want to answer  : Will it cause fire when it's lit?

Our candles require following fire safety rules just like any others. After some more burning tests. We came up with a conclusion that a safety measure must be followed when burning a bamboo candle.

A CANDLE WILL CAUSE FIRE IF :

1. You leave the candle burning out of sight.
2. You use a wrong size of the wick and bamboo cup.
3. You put it on a shaky and uneven surface
4. Your space is not well ventilated.
5. You burn the candle for more than 3 hours.
6. You didn't trim the wick each time before you light the candle.
7. You let the candle burning all the way down until an inch of the wax has left in the vessel.

 REPURPOSED

Re purposing is the process by which an object with one use value is transformed or redeployed as a object with an alternative use value. Here are some ideas that you can do after consuming the wax inside the Bamboo containers.

1. Plant pot
2. Pen holder
3. Paint brush holder
4. Flower Vase
5. Incense stick holder
6. Re-use it for another set of candle
